Guild Application
Applicants, please read:

1. Fill out a complete application with a valid email address. Your first indication that you've been accepted into the guild will be a validation email from this website which says you've been accepted. **Note** Hotmail email addresses may NOT be used because the anti-spam filter at Microsoft filters the acceptance emails.

2. At some point, you will be contacted by the recruiting officer. This is either Laughalot, or Apoc. He will interview you and ultimately probably be the one making the decision on whether or not you're accepted into the guild.

3. Understand that even if you're accepted as a raider, it may take some time before circumstances conspire to afford you a regular raid slot. Keep in mind that the only way to transition immediately into raiding is if we post a specific need and you fit the bill exactly, or to join a startup raiding guild and get in at the ground floor. Active, skilled, and outgoing players always rise to the top, but rarely do so instantly. We're giving you a chance, we ask you do the same with us.

4. The completeness of your app is our first look at you. If it looks rushed, the message we get from it is that you just don't care enough to put any effort into it. We'll assume you bring the same attitude to raiding and the care and feeding of your character's gear and enchants.

5. Please be patient. We're all pretty busy, and just because you haven't been contacted within a few hours after your application posted doesn't mean we're not interested.

6. Your first two weeks in Conscripts is going to be like a first date. If you're loud, obnoxious, a know-it-all, or impatient, we'll see it, and you won't last long at all. If you're helpful (without being overly so,) knowledgeable (without being overbearing,) and friendly, people will want to spend time with you and the rest will take care of itself.

7. We don't do package deals. If you're recruited as a raider and have a best bud who wants to join too, he gets in under his own merit. After your probationary period we do offer a friends and family clause, but that applies only to casual membership. That said, a casual member who meets the guidelines in item 6 will get noticed and will eventually be able to write their own ticket in Conscripts as a raider or otherwise.

8. By applying here, you're certifying that you understand the guild rules, raid rules, loot rules, and all other governing documents in our official documentation forum. That means you are not entitled to a lot of warnings about foul language in guild chat, discriminatory remarks, treating the guild like a mini trade channel, or showing up to a raid in broken gear without consumables. In fact, you're not entitled to any warnings at all.
